Italy Day 5

If you read yesterday's blog post you'd have probably guessed that I woke up this morning with a hangover, although not as bad as it should be considering the size of the Absinthe shot I had! I thought the best cure should be to hit the pool, read my book and sweat any of that green stuff out that was still left in my body.

Later we hit the town to explore and found some incredible, Jurassic Park style, canyons with an old building at the bottom (Photo's coming soon). We saw amazing displays of lemons and huge cords of hanging chillies and stumbled across a gorgeous summer garden room. It was down an alley and seemed to be open to the public, it had some sofas and the walls and ceilings were plastered with rainforest plants and vines. Plus in the heat of the day this place remained beautifully cool and quiet.

For dinner I ate home made Gnocci alla Sorrentino Sauce and the girls had Peppered Mussels and Fried Squid and Shrimp. We sat overlooking the bay of Naples with Mount Vesuvius across the other side with the setting sunlight cast across it. Belissimo!

When we had ordered the wine we realised that it was made from the grapes that surround the chalet that we've rented. It's completely person and unique to this campsite!
