Antigua Day 8 - 08/08/09
On day 8 we woke up to the sounds of Bird Island (Lots and lots of noisy birds!) and back to the beach in the dinghy.
Andersson took us along a trail through the bush to the top of the island where we could look back upon our yacht, the reefs we snorkeled and the beach we had a barbeque on.
Yaz drove the dinghy off the island and around the reefs to Hells Gate.
After our huge full english breakfast we navigated around the reefs and then put up sails and sailed down wind towards St. Johns Harbour.
At St. Johns we got takeaway pizza and continued en route with Angus at the helm to Jolly Harbour where we practiced more docking.
After dinner that night we began our 4 hour night sail under moonlight to Carlisle Bay where we anchored for the night.
